Ballet workshop for children

This practical dance workshop follows the performance The French Ballet Fairy Tale and offers children the opportunity to transform newly acquired knowledge into a personal physical experience. Participants will explore various dance styles, from shamanic trance dances through court ballet to contemporary modern dance. In doing so, they will gain insight into the significance of music and dance as a universal language that has accompanied humanity from prehistoric times to the present day.

The programme is intended for a group of twenty selected children aged 9–11.
