Alinde quintet will resound Mansion Pohansko with foreign-inspired composers: French-influenced Antonín Rejcha, Antonín Dvořák and his stay in America, Johann Nepomuk Hummel’s visit to England. Moreover, the anthem of the United Kingdom has also its place in the programme as the melody pleased Prince Alois so much that it is now used by the whole Principality of Liechtenstein.

 
 

Alinde quintet

Alinde Quintet was founded in 2019 by leading representatives of the young generation of performers. The ensemble is a winner of many international competitions – Bucharest International Wind Quintet Music Competition, ODIN International Chamber Music Competition, OPUS International Chamber Music Competition, holder of the golden band in the Antonín Dvořák Competition in Prague and most recently the 3rd prize winner of the prestigious Carl Nielsen International Competition in Copenhagen. Alinde Quintet is listed on the Czech Music Fund Foundation’s Young Artist List and regularly performs throughout the country.

Anna Talácková
Flutist Anna Talácková studied at the Prague Conservatory and the University of Ostrava under Jan Ostrý. She has participated in foreign studies in Brussels and Ljubljana and has attended several flute courses, of which she most appreciates her long-standing collaboration with professors Gaby Pas-Van Riet and Philipp Bernold. In 2018 she was a semi-finalist in the Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition and a year later she won 2nd prize at the Prague Spring International Competition. She is a member of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and regularly performs with the FOK Prague Symphony Orchestra.

Barbora Trnčíková
Barbora Trnčíková entered the HAMU in Prague right after high school, where she is now studying in the PhD. programme. She spent part of her studies abroad on internships in Lyon and London. She attended the orchestral academy of the Czech Philharmonic and the PKF – Prague Philharmonia and participated in several tours of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and the European Union Youth Orchestra. She is a winner of the international competition in Chieri, Italy, Pro Bohemia Ostrava Competition and the Conservatory Competition Showcase. She is currently a member of the Brno Philharmonic and the National Theatre in Prague.

David Šimeček
David Šimeček graduated from the České Budějovice Conservatory and then from the JAMU in Brno, where he is now continuing his PhD. studies. During his studies at the conservatory he successfully auditioned for the National Theatre Orchestra, was a member of the orchestral academy of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra, with which he participated in several international tours, and is active in the ensembles L’Armonia Terrena and Quasi Trio. He is a laureate of Concertino Praga, the Conservatoire Competition, Bohuslav Martinů Youth in Polička and Czech Clarinet Art in Hořice.

Kryštof Koska
Kryštof Koska studied at the Brno Conservatory and is now a student at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. He started as an orchestral player in the Moravian Theatre Opera Orchestra in Olomouc and now works in the National Theatre Orchestra in Prague, Czech Philharmonic, Moravia Brass Band and the PKF – Prague Philharmonia. Furthermore, he arranges compositions for wind quintet and conducts the Police Symphony Orchestra. His greatest competition successes include 2nd prize at the Žestě Brno Competition, 1st prize at the Pardubice Winds Competition and 1st prize and the title of absolute winner of the Teplice Conservatory Competition.

Petr Sedlák
Petr Sedlák entered the prestigious Royal College of Music in London right after graduating from Brno Conservatory. He has been a member of the English National Opera Orchestral Academy, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra and European Union Youth Orchestra. Petr is a laureate of the Brno International Wind Instrument Competition and the Pro Bohemia Ostrava Competition. He has been a member of the Munich Symphony Orchestra, a guest player with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bath Festival Orchestr, and is currently a member of the Orchestral Academy of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and FOK Prague Symphony Orchestra.
