🎼 This year’s Lednice-Valtice Music Festival (LVMF) 2024 will focus on the intertwining of musical wealth and Masonic symbolism. From the Prologue at Moravský Krumlov Castle to the final Gala Concert at Valtice Castle, visitors will have the opportunity to delve into the secrets of musical notation and discover new musical realms from September 14 to October 12, 2024.

The festival will be opened by the Prague Philharmonia and violin virtuoso Maxim Vengerov with violin concerts by W. A. Mozart. The special program also includes the Sinfonia in G by Carl Friedrich Abel, discovered in the Valtice Music Archive. The concerts will take place in various locations throughout the Lednice-Valtice area, including Mikulov Castle, Pohansko Castle, and the riding hall at Lednice Castle.

The concert program includes works by composers associated with Freemasonry, such as Jean Sibelius and Franz Liszt, as well as a modern tribute to Duke Ellington. Festival guests will include the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, Collegium Marianum, Alinde Quintet, Clarimonia Ensemble, and the Bratislava Hot Serenaders.

The genius loci of the Lednice-Valtice area creates the festival’s atmosphere, which is closely connected with the traditions of the Liechtenstein estate. The accompanying program includes exhibitions, educational concerts, and expert lectures.

Come and experience unforgettable moments full of music that will enchant and inspire you. More information about the program and tickets can be found on our website:
