In December 1738, the court of Louis XV welcomed ceremonious arrival of an imperial envoy in his golden carriage \u2013 a representative of Central European culture, refined taste and diplomatic sophistication. His arrival in six sumptuous carriages, drawn by teams from the stud farms of Lednice and accompanied by the court\u2019s magnificent decorations, was not only a lavish ceremony, but above all a thoughtful gesture of cultural diplomacy.<\/span><\/p>\n This legacy will also come to life in the festival programme itself. We are very pleased to welcome <\/span>Orchestre, Ch\u0153ur et Acad\u00e9mie de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra Royal de Versailles <\/b>conducted by <\/span>Ga\u00e9tan Jarry<\/b>, who will perform sacred pieces <\/span>Le\u00e7ons de T\u00e9n\u00e8bres <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>Miserere<\/span><\/i> by <\/span>Fran\u00e7ois Couperin<\/b> together with exceptional sopranos <\/span>Catherine Trottmann <\/b>and <\/span>Ana Vieira Leite<\/b>. French repertoire in the context of the Czech Baroque tradition will be presented by <\/span>Collegium 1704<\/b> with <\/span>V\u00e1clav Luks<\/b>, whose interpretation combines historical accuracy with artistic depth, and <\/span>Collegium Marianum <\/b>leaded by <\/span>Jana Semer\u00e1dov\u00e1<\/b>, performing on 19 September at the LVMF Prologue in the Garden Palace in Vienna, where the famous Golden Carriage will be displayed as well.<\/span><\/p>\n After several years, violinist <\/span>Cosima Soulez Larivi\u00e8re<\/b> returns to the festival with<\/span> distinctive recital programme promising a powerful musical experience. LVMF Final Gala will belong to the world-renowned soprano <\/span>Sandra<\/b> Hamaoui<\/b> and iconic <\/span>Bolero<\/span><\/i> by <\/span>Ravel<\/b> and performed by <\/span>Bohuslav Martin\u016f Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b> offering an emotional end to the whole festival.<\/span><\/p>\n Our great pleasure is an exclusive musical journey to Versailles, which we are organising in collaboration with <\/span>Ch\u00e2teau Versailles Spectacles<\/b> as a gratitude to our key supporters and patrons. They will have a unique opportunity to experience not only royal opera directly in the setting of the Palace of Versailles \u2013 the place where European musical history was written.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2026, the festival will be a tribute to sophisticated representation, enlightened patronage and a European cultural identity formed not only in diplomatic courts but also on concert stages.
