Donors from both the Czech Republic and abroad participated in the collection. The collected funds went directly to the Via Foundation, which coordinates their distribution to the affected areas. We hope that they will find their owners soon.
It has been a week since the devastating tornado swept only a few miles from the concerts venues of the Lednice-Valtice Music Festival. As many others, we have also pitched in by manual work and donation through the Via Foundation, which established a call to help South Moravia. The LVMF project is called Donate and be gifted and it is possible to contribute to it until 26 July 2021.
This year’s festival is dedicated to the music of the Venetian Baroque music master Antonio Vivaldi and commemorates the 1600th anniversary of the founding of Venice, the city of carnivals, where Antonio Vivaldi was born in 1678. Join us until 15 August to compete for the most original, imaginative Venetian mask using any artistic technique! Drawing or painting on any material, bodypainting, stick painting, embroidery – everything counts! As the conditions for cultural events by the government of the Czech Republic remain unclear and the high risk of cancellation several days before the event, we are forced to postpone the originally planned concert of the band Čechomor with the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc from 28th May 2021 to Friday 24th June 2022. We went to Vienna! For the work purposes of course, as the crew consisted of the team that prepares the LVHF 2021 Prologue in the Garden Palace Liechtenstein on 23rd September 2021. We went through the beautiful premises of the Garden Palace with Gabriela Ogoralek, who is the local administrator, and took a brief look at the local art collections, which had to remain secret from our camera.
